There are some great speakers from the early days of Hi-Fi (ca. 1946 to 1965) that are quite capable of handling any of today’s digital entertainment mediums. The LoudSpeaker Store can handle almost any restoration job, even when parts are hard or impossible to find. Using our network of suppliers and our own innovative techniques, we can preserve a vintage speaker’s original voice and sound quality. If original parts are not available, we may use a replica of the original parts or have a part fabricated to match the original. Other times we use a modern “off-the-shelf” part and modify it or re-tune the crossover network to accommodate the new part.

Restorations are done by quote only – please contact us to set up a visit or make shipping arrangements. We will submit an itemized estimate before work begins. Due to the time-intensive nature of this type of project, we charge a $45 fee to generate an estimate. We will apply the fee toward the restoration if the estimate is accepted.
